Coaching Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all coaching services provided by My Best A Race. By signing up for coaching, you agree to the following:
1. Coaching Agreement
Coaching is delivered on a rolling, week‑to‑week basis with no fixed minimum term.
While there is no contractual minimum, athletes typically begin to see meaningful progress after a minimum of three months of consistent training. This is a recommendation, not a requirement.
2. Payments
Weekly coaching payments are collected securely through TrainingPeaks.
Payments are taken in advance for the upcoming week of coaching.
If a payment fails, access to coaching services may be paused until the issue is resolved.
3. What’s Included
Your coaching package includes:
Individually tailored training plans delivered via TrainingPeaks
Weekly adjustments based on your feedback, data, and progress
Ongoing communication and support as outlined in your chosen coaching tier
Any additional services (e.g., race‑day support, in‑person sessions, testing) may be offered separately.
4. Athlete Responsibilities
To get the most from coaching, you agree to:
Provide honest, timely feedback through TrainingPeaks or agreed communication channels
Upload training data where possible
Inform the coach of any injury, illness, or major life changes that may affect training
Seek medical advice when appropriate—coaching is not a substitute for professional medical care
5. Pausing or Ending Coaching
You may pause or end coaching at any time.
No notice period is required, but please give as much notice as possible so your coach can close out your plan cleanly.
Payments already collected for the current week are non‑refundable, as coaching work is delivered in real time.
6. Coach Responsibilities
Your coach will:
Provide evidence‑led, athlete‑centred training guidance
Adjust your plan weekly based on your progress and communication
Respond within reasonable timeframes as outlined in your coaching tier
Maintain confidentiality of your personal information and training data
7. Health & Safety
You confirm that you are fit to train and have no medical conditions that would make endurance training unsafe.
You accept that all training carries inherent risk, and you take responsibility for exercising within your limits.
Always consult a medical professional if you have concerns about your health or suitability for training.
8. Liability
My Best A Race is not liable for injuries, illnesses, or other issues arising from training.
You participate in training and events at your own risk.
9. Data Protection
Your personal data and training information are used solely for coaching purposes and are handled in line with GDPR requirements.
TrainingPeaks manages payment processing and data storage under their own privacy policies.
10. Changes to Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated periodically. Any changes will be communicated in advance.
